We are looking for someone who wants to work part-time as a leisure leader with us. The leisure center is centrally located and targets youth aged 11-18, aiming to create a meaningful leisure time for this group, both inside and outside the leisure center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You inspire and challenge young people to realize their ideas and support them in being involved in creating a meaningful leisure time, assisting them with their interests while also showcasing the activities available in Kramfors and its surroundings.

Your work includes collaborating with external actors such as schools, associations, and outdoor activities.

Together with young people and other leisure leaders, you plan and implement leisure activities with a particular focus on open activities, group activities, and outreach work.

You have a naturally coaching and supportive approach and work to strengthen young people's participation, influence, and community engagement.

A good and relationship-building contact with guardians, the police, social services, and other safety nets for youth is an important part of your mission.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for trained leisure leaders or those with equivalent education that the employer deems comparable, and you are welcome to have knowledge of norm criticism, gender equality, and participation.

We view experience and/or knowledge of coaching and motivational conversations as a positive aspect.

You enjoy working in a varied and flexible environment where you need to be solution-focused and proactive.

As a person, you are creative, enthusiastic, positive, affirming, attentive, and engaged.

You encourage young people's ideas and possess the patience and drive required to support the realization of these.

We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working with children and youth, including voluntary engagements, and we place great importance on personal suitability.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement; if you are multilingual, we see this as an advantage. A B driver's license is also required.
